Colorado River Regional Crisis Shelter

The Colorado River Regional Crisis Shelter was established in 1997, in Parker, Arizona. The facility houses a 19-bed facility that provides shelter for 10 family units. Construction is underway to open transitional housing facilities. Shelter services include crisis intervention, case management, counseling for women and their children, advocacy and education, all based on an empowerment model. Expansion efforts are underway to open transitional housing and to enhance and expand advocacy services for victims of sexual assault.
