Is there any thing that you or your child needs right away?
Paperwork will be completed asking about the dynamics in your relationship and if you have any injuries to be treated.
What about school for your children? Most shelters work closely with the local schools to prevent interruption of their education. You will discuss with staff whether you should switch schools to protect the child’s safety.
